Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a method of counseling that takes a hands-on approach to changing patterns of thinking or behavior that are making it difficult for individuals to function at their highest potential. When I work with clients, I use a variety of techniques to help challenge negative, unhelpful thoughts and belief patterns, and replace them with healthier, more productive thoughts. We also target unhelpful behaviors in which clients may engage, encouraging them to take part in activities geared toward health and wellness. It is a researched, proven method of therapy that gets results, when we are willing to put in the work!
