Counseling Fees

Individual and family counseling sessions are $120 per 1 hour session. I accept cash, check, card, or digital payments (PayPal).
I do not have a formal sliding scale, but will work on an individual basis to ensure that all who need or want counseling can afford to come.
I offer a reduced rate for college students, specifically. Please contact me for more details.
Remember – there is no risk or obligation to continue if you feel like I am not the counselor for you. Get in touch and let’s find out!

I do not currently accept any other forms of insurance.
As an out-of-network provider, I can help you request reimbursement from your insurance provider. If you desire to use your insurance benefits, the first step is to contact your insurance company and verify what your mental health benefits are. You will need to ask about:

  • Out-of-network coverage policies
  • Your out of pocket payment before your deductible is met
  • What percentage of the visit fee will be covered
  • The number of covered visits per calendar year

You are responsible for paying my fee, and I will provide you with a Superbill (a receipt for services provided) that you will submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. If you need help clarifying your coverage, please let me know.

Please be aware that, if you choose to use your insurance coverage, some of your protected health information will be shared with your insurance company. This will include a mental health diagnosis on your health record.


I require 24 hours notice for cancellations. If less than 24 hours notice is given, you will be responsible for paying half of the session fee. This fee may be waived at my discretion. Specifically, if you or a family member are ill, please stay home! I generally will not charge for sudden illnesses, since they are outside our control.
